Hands-on Preview: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
The story that became a legend is now in 3D. The release of the much anticipated remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo 3DS is approaching quickly.
I was given a great opportunity to attend a preview event for the game in Toronto, this past week, where I got to play it for about an hour. We were able to try each of the two campaign types, the new content, and fool around in different areas of the game world.
Arguably the greatest game of all-time (my favourite) on a handheld? How did it translate? I was blown away and would like to tell you why.

MX vs. ATV: Alive Review
It's getting to be that time of year again. Spring and summer weather means the beginning of engines revving and races taking place on dirt tracks. To complement this upcoming season, THQ has released MX vs. ATV: Alive - the third game in their MX vs. ATV series for current generation consoles.
A revamped title that is retailing for $39.99 with a new pricing structure allowing players to pay extra for content they desire, Alive is an interesting trial. Read on to see if it makes it to the finish line (or the podium,) or whether it ends up stalling at the starting gate.

Star Raiders Review (XBOX Live Arcade)
In 1979, one man developed a game that many enjoyed for hours on end. That game was Star Raiders (Atari) - a game that allowed virtual star fighters to head into space to annihilate an attacking force known as the Cylons, though a first-person view.
Fast-forward to 2011 and Atari and Incinerator Studios have remade the classic cockipit shooter into a three dimensional space combat game. A download title that retails for 800msp.
I reviewed it this past week. Read on to check out my full thoughts about this revamped star fighter:

Thor: God of Thunder Review
To complement the recent theatrical release of the blockbuster film of the same name, SEGA has released Thor: God of Thunder for almost all of the major video game platforms. I reviewed the XBOX 360 version, which is the same build of the game as the PS3 and PC versions.
Is Thor as godly as it could've been? Check out my review.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Escalation Map Pack Review
The second map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops was just released yesterday. It contains four traditional maps as well as the much talked about Call of the Dead Zombies mode (featuring George A. Romero and other horror icons.) I was given the great opportunity to review it. Check out my review.

Outland Review (XBOX Live Arcade Version)
From Ubisoft comes Outland, a platform-action game that you will not forget after playing. It's beautiful and intelligent. One of the best downloadable releases I've played in a long time. Though a few issues keep it from perfection.

Rev up your engine and enter the dream-like fairgrounds of Mayhem 3D. Compete in visceral/destructive steel on steel battles in various different challenges, as you try to survive impending doom. Most of all, give this unique indie/budget title a shot.
