Dead Island - X'11 Hands-On Preview

Can you imagine what it would be like to wake up at a sunny resort which is overrun with zombies? Such is the premise of Techland's action RPG, Dead Island. It's coming out very soon.

I had a chance to play a five minute-long demo of the game at X'11 just over a week ago. Here are my full thoughts of the sunny zombie apocalypse that I fought through:

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Review

What the future has in store for our race is unknown. Technology is advancing at a staggering rate, outdoing itself year after year. Our medical community is benefitting greatly from these advances.

In the world of Deus Ex: Human Revolution (a prequel to the original Deus Ex), bio-mechanical augmentations are becoming popular. They're the cool thing to use in order to help people 'better' themselves. Plus, they're also helping those who are injured.

This new technological advance is affecting society, however. It seems like half of the population is for augmentations, while the other half (pro-humanists) happen to be strongly opposed.

Toy Soldiers: Cold War Review (XBOX Live Arcade)

Although the Cold War luckily never came to blows, it's a great backdrop for a 'what if?' style video game. That's exactly the made-up premise that Toy Soldiers: Cold War uses to add intrigue to its action-packed and visceral tower defense gameplay. Though it differs from most, allowing players to jump into the turrets and explosive weapons they place, in order to shoot foes themselves.

This is a really cool game that everyone should check out. To find out why, read full reviews:
