Warhammer 40K: Space Marine - X'11 Hands-On Preview

Those dumb Orks never learn, do they?

Structured as an action game/third-person shooter hybrid, Warhammer 40K: Space Marine is the latest title from Relic Entertainment. It takes place in the popular, fantasy universe, and is full of some very bloody action.

Here are my thoughts of the game, for your perusal. This is based off of a lengthy demo session I played at Microsoft's X'11 Event in Toronto:

Dead Island - X'11 Hands-On Preview

Can you imagine what it would be like to wake up at a sunny resort which is overrun with zombies? Such is the premise of Techland's action RPG, Dead Island. It's coming out very soon.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Review

What the future has in store for our race is unknown. Technology is advancing at a staggering rate, outdoing itself year after year. Our medical community is benefitting greatly from these advances.

In the world of Deus Ex: Human Revolution (a prequel to the original Deus Ex), bio-mechanical augmentations are becoming popular. They're the cool thing to use in order to help people 'better' themselves. Plus, they're also helping those who are injured.

This new technological advance is affecting society, however. It seems like half of the population is for augmentations, while the other half (pro-humanists) happen to be strongly opposed.
