Transformers: Dark of the Moon Review
Autobots; roll out!
With the release of Michael Bay's third Transformers film adaptation, Activision and High Moon Studios teamed up to release a film companion video game. Using assets from last year's polished, fun and cool Transformers: War For Cybertron, the game changes some things up for better or worse. Delivering us robotic war on Earth this time around, the game tells a prequel story that ties things in between Transformers 2 and 3.
So, how does it stack up against its predecessors (and the general gaming market)? Read on:

Call of Duty: Black Ops Annihilation Map Pack Review
Guns? Check. Explosives? Check. Zombies and monkeys? Check.
Activision and Treyarch have released the third map pack for one of the most popular games of all time - Call of Duty: Black Ops. It brings four new traditional maps to the fold, including hazard, drive-in, silo and hangar-18. Not to mention a trip to the jungle for the all-popular zombie mode.
They key to a good map pack is creativity and great design. To find out how this one stands up, check out my thoughts:

Half-Minute Hero Super Neo Climax Review
Ever wanted to play an RPG that doesn't require hours upon hours of invested time? Well, Marvelous Entertainment have created the game for you. Originally released as a PSP game, Half-Minute Hero Super Neo Climax is a retro role-playing game for XBLA, which gives you a short 30 second time limit to complete quests.
If this sounds like something interesting (which it truly is,) then check out my full review:

Lucha Fury Review
Growing up in the nineties, one of my favourite types of video games was the side-scrolling beat 'em-up. Games that were fun through countless playthroughs, due to well-designed combat mechanics and enjoyable levels with great set pieces.
In order to try to rejuvenate that classic sub-genre, Punchers Impact set to work on Lucha Fury - a game that brings Mexican wrestlers and humor to the party. However, it seems like there was too much effort put forth into the visual fidelity of the game and not enough focus on the way it plays.
Read on as I perform a suplex on this downloadable title:

Cubic Ninja Review
When one thinks of a ninja, the image that usually appears in their mind is of a man in black hiding in the shadows using stealth tactics. In Cubic Ninja from Ubisoft, we're tasked with becoming a ninja who must use gravity to move from point A to point B in different obstacle courses.

Shadows of the Damned Review
Journey into surreal madness in Suda 51's interpretation of Hell. A demonic underworld where things resemble Earth at times, but take shocking turns and encounter startling alterations around different corners. One of the most interesting and unique worlds gaming has ever seen.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D Review
What is arguably the best game of all-time has come to the Nintendo 3DS, with newly re-done visuals, slight gameplay upgrades and some new additions. If you've been waiting to pick up a 3DS until it gets its first triple-A must-buy title, then you're in luck.
Read my thoughts on what could be the definitive iteration of the best game of all-time.

Dungeon Siege 3 Review
It's been thirty years after the assassination of its king, and the kingdom of Ehb has been broken into different states. Its former protectors, the 10th Legion, have gone into hiding after most of their members were wiped out by a renegade witch with terrible intentions. They fear for their lives and their bloodline.
Your goal is to take part in a secret uprising that will hopefully see the Legion regain what was theirs, bringing peace back to the land.
Dungeon-crawling fans of hack n' slash games will really want to take a look at this one. It's tried and true, but really quite good.

The Adventures of Shuggy (XBLA) Review
After inheriting a dark and brooding castle from his late uncle, a young purple vampire must come to terms with his fear of the dark and what lies within. That's pretty much the premise of this puzzle-platformer, but story isn't a big factor here. It's more about gem collecting, precise jumps and creative puzzles. Plus, co-op/competitive multiplayer.
If you like puzzle games, you owe it to yourself to check this out.

Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters Review
To tie-in with the release of this weekend's blockbuster film, Warner Bros. and Double Helix worked together to create Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters. It's a third-person beat 'em up with co-op play, but it also has the odd flight mission.
Is this one of the rare licensed games that breaks the mold and is actually good?

inFAMOUS 2 Review
The Beast is coming. He's already annihilated one and all in Empire City, and he's slowly but surely making his way down the American coastline to New Merais. Cole, an RFI machine, and his electrical powers are the only thing that can put an end to the misery, but he needs 8 blast cores.
Are you up to the task? If so, check out my inFAMOUS 2 review to find out just how great Sucker Punch's latest offering is.

Hunted: The Demon's Forge Review
Fighting, shooting arrows, traversing dungeons and slaying dragons. It’s all in a day’s work for Caddock and E’lara – two mercenaries for hire, who find themselves fulfilling a quest based on sympathy for once. It’s this quest to find the people of a small town, and to help its king rekindle his relationship with his missing daughter, that forms the basis for Hunted: The Demon’s Forge.
If those aforementioned descriptors interest you at all, then check out my full review:

Red Faction: Armageddon Review
It's time to return to Mars, as THQ and Volition have teamed up to bring us Red Faction: Armageddon. Taking place fifty years after the events of its predecessor (Red Faction: Guerilla,) the game follows Darius Mason as he tries to make the red planet's surface habitable once again, following a freak accident/act of terrorism.
It's a really good game. You can read my full review by clicking the link below:

Hands-On Preview: inFAMOUS 2
Nestled in the area of Bathurst and College Streets in Toronto, is a new children's summer camp known as Camp Oochigeas. It was the location for Sony's inFAMOUS 2 preview event, on June 1. A great location for an event of this type, considering the game features a ton of climbing, and the camp does too (rock climbing, that is.)
I got a chance to play inFAMOUS 2 for about thirty to forty minutes, while chatting with a member of its development team who flew in from Seattle. Check out my hands-on impression article:
